Over a year has come and gone since the last post to this blog...a lot has happened...it's been a roller coaster ride! Outburst climbed the ladder to 8th place last year at competition, up from 10th in their previous outing! A job well done!!

The Quartet has gone through yet another Bass change...this will be number 4! Carol Dubue sadly decided it was time to step down and take some well-deserved time for her family. It was difficult to let her go but it was necessary for the well-being of her girls...and we can all relate to the importance of family! Fortunately for Santina, Nancy and Debbie they found another wonderful Bass in their own midst at Canadian Showtime Chorus. Liz Gibbs, long-time Sweet Adeline, officially took up the Bass position in February 2012...welcome Liz!!

Regional Competition is closing fast and although Outburst will not be competing as a quartet this year, they will be standing proud on the risers with Canadian Showtime and try to "catch the wave" to Hawaii in 2013, as that is where the Champion Chorus will go for International Competition! Good Luck CSC! Stay tuned for the results of this outrageously fun and exciting weekend!
